Terms and Conditions of Sale
These terms and conditions (Agreement) apply to your purchase of Scalesco and/or related products and/or services and support sold to you by Scalesco Measurement Technology Inc, also known as SMTI throughout the rest of this agreement. By accepting delivery of the products, you accept and are bound to the terms and conditions of this agreement. If you do not wish to be bound by this Agreement, you must notify Scalesco immediately and return your purchase pursuant to SMTI Return Policy. If returned, product(s) must remain in the boxe(s) in which they were shipped.
Forms of Payment, Payment Terms, Orders & Quotes
Terms of payment are within SMTI sole discretion.
Unless otherwise agreed to by SMTI, payment must be received by SMTI prior to acceptance or process of an order.
SMTI accepts payment by credit card, or some other pre-arranged payment method unless credit terms have been agreed to by SMTI.
Invoices are due and payable within the time period noted on the invoice, measured from the date of the invoice.
Your order is subject to cancellation at SMTI’s sole discretion. SMTI is not responsible for pricing, typographical, or other errors, in any offer by SMTI and reserves the right to cancel any orders resulting from such errors.
Calibration required upon installation
Calibration or accurate weighing is not guarenteed upon installation of your product.
Calibration may be required due to shipping damage or altitude changes.
Contact SMTI for scales weighing inaccurately upon installation for calibration support, accurate calibration weights are required.
If accurate calibration weights are not readily accesible, SMTI will recommend the nearest qualified scale technician for support.
All fees incurred for calibration are the responsibility of the buyer.
"NTEP" or "Legal for Trade" Sealing
Scales purchased for use in "Legal for Trade" or "NTEP" applications are not sealed upon delivery from the factory.
SMTI recommends a qualified service technician calibrate your scale prior to placing into service.
All fees incurred for calibration are the responsibility of the buyer.
Shipping
SMTI will only ship to the United States.
Shipping is FREE to the Continental United States. Free shipping method is ground shipping via carrier defined by SMTI.
Saturday delivery not available in all areas.
Orders shipping outside the Continental United States will require an additional shipping charge.
Shipping address must be a residential or business address. We will not ship to a PO Box.
Orders returned as "undeliverable" or "refused" will be charged a minimum $30 fee.
Taxes
Minnesota State Law requires SMTI to charge state sales tax to orders shipping to a Minnesota address.
Resellers with proper documentation may have tax omitted from their orders, please contact Scalesco for more information to become a reseller at 1-866-587-9733.
Cancelling Your Order
Order(s) may be cancelled before it is shipped.
Order(s) cancelled after it is shipped, payment (less shipping charge and applicable restock fees) will be refunded after we receive the product(s) back.
Order(s) cancelled within 24 hours of placing the order, and we have not processed the order and/or shipped the product(s), payment will be refunded in full. Most order will ship within 24 hours. Many will ship the same day.
Order(s) cancelled after 24 hours of placing the order, and we have processed the order but have not shipped the product(s), payment will be refunded less 4% cancellation charge.
Website Accuracy
Whilst we make our best effort to keep the information on our site accurate, prices are subject to change without notice. In the event a price is found to be incorrect, or a product is not accurately depicted, we will make every attempt to contact the customer to inform them of the changes. All information is believed to be accurate, but is not guaranteed by SMTI.
